Some few examples on graphics compared to original game

Gameplay:

  • Improved cop AI batter logic to better balance difficulty
  • Restored Tanner felony (can be seen in two Vegas missions)
  • Cops no longer can see player if on different heights
  • Fixed cop AI activation when player without felony touches roadblock car
  • Fixed and improved Cop AI navigation/pathfinding
  • Fixed player car drowning bug in tunnels
  • Fixed Tanner "drowning" by non-moving train in Vegas Ghost Town
  • Restored Tanner drowning movement in water
  • Fixed Tanner sitting on chairs
  • Easier jump in "Boat Jump"
  • Fixed crash when starting "Escape to ferry" with special cars
  • Added Skip cutscene menu option when pausing during cutscene
  • Fixed Civ AI yielding on junctions (stuck cop cars in Havana now gone)
  • Better car slots handling - no duplicate car models in Take a Ride
  • If player starts with cop car in Take a Ride it now will not give felony to player after re-entering
  • Lead AI (Find the Clue etc freeroamer) obstacle avoidance is better
  • Added dedicated look back and exit car buttons (L3 and R3 by default)
  • Added config option to disable Chicago bridges
  • Fixed car drifting on Havana ferry and resolve replay inconsistencies

Effects/Visuals:

  • In-game cutscene subtitles
  • Improved draw distance and resolved glitches
  • Restored street lamp damage (see Havana at night here)
  • Restored street light trails
  • Fixed some polygons not drawing (Chicago Goose island's white barrels)
  • Lost hubcaps are now preserved per car
  • Restored Havana secret base elevator sound
  • Restored multiplayer follow and tripod cameras
  • Restored car exhaust smoke
  • Leaves are now affected properly by player car and chased car
  • Fallen off hubcaps in Rio are now displayed
  • Restored cut Las Vegas Luxor monorail
  • Added dots to cop sight cones on overhead map
  • Fixed tyre tracks incorrect appearance after burnouts
  • Fix tyre track creation on far distances and smoke in multiplayer
  • Field of view is adjustable in config
  • HUD overlays support widescreen mapping

Film Director:

  • Fix camera invalidation bugs
  • Added variable zoom for non-locked tripod camera
  • Added target height adjustment to locked tripod camera
  • Improved chase camera, restored height and distance editing
  • Added replay saving filename prompt

Other:

  • PC version score table name is entered using keyboard
  • PC version now automatically saves undercover campaign progress
  • PC version now has command line arguments
  • PC version prompt for quitting the game in frontend main menu added
  • PC fast loading screens option added
  • Memory card menu was removed
