2.9″ ST‐GM29XXF Low Temp

This is a 2.9" pricetag by Solum. It's been designed for application in lower temperature environments, for example supermarket refrigerators. Contrary to many other Solum tags, this tag has a plastic outer window over the EPD. An interesting thing: It has a dedicated IC on the RF wake antenna. Presumably, this allows the operator to wake the tag from a longer distance than normal.

  • ZBS 243 / SEM9110 8051 based core, 64kbyte flash, 8kbyte XRAM, 256 bytes iRAM 16 MHz, 802.15.4 2.4Ghz radio
  • 2.9" ePaper display SSD1619-like (black and white! no reds here)
  • SPI EEPROM (probably a megabyte or something)
  • Dedicated wake-IC
  • 2x CR2450 Coin cell
