I have uploaded some draft specifications that I would like Andy to review. They are in Open\Sports_Complex\Specifications, Divisions 03, 05, 06, and 13. Thanks, TF

Ryan,

It was my understanding that we would review the concrete and rough carpentry specification and that foremost would review the two steel specs. Ifthis is incorrect, please let me know.

Thank you,

Andy, yes, please only review those specs that are associated with your scope.

Thanks, Ryan

What is the scope of work for Structural, if you can describe that in 50 words or less?

Ntrive is helping us on on the design of the foundations and slab. They are also helping out on a few miscelleous strctural issues thoughout--Glulam overhangs, etc.

http://www.foremostbuildings.com/ is taking on the lion's share of the steel structure. Their scope also includes the metal panel wall assembly (7.2 Panel), the standing seam roof, and batt insulation on the exterior wall/roof.

Thanks. It's the miscellaneous structural issues that I'm concerned about. Those may need to be specified. I assumed that they might include Cold-Formed Metal Framing and maybe even Structural Steel. No?

issue #41 & issue #40 touch on what we are covering. So yes, a little Cold-Formed Metal Framing and Structural Steel.

Curious - do cement plants in Wisconsin not use fly ash?
Thanks,
TF

Ryan,

Yes, they do use fly ash. We are allowing fly ash, but I marked up the specification because the maximum content is provided on our drawings.

Thank you,
