  1. Door 124C: Do you want a slatted roll-up (industrial) or a segmented (like a residential garage door) door? Either would be insulated. Do you want windows in it (then go with segmented)?
  2. Is there a particular storefront manufacturer that gets used around here a lot? EFCO is out of Moline, MO with big distributor in Minneapolis. I like them.
  3. We need to get ourselves a hardware consultant. They are free. However, we need to know whether the Owner has any preference for lockset manufacturer (Yale, Sargeant, Schlage, etc). If not, I prefer Schlage and I'm good to go.
  4. I'm assuming that you will want a low-e coating on the exterior glass.
    Thanks. TF

Hi Tony,

  1. see issue Garage Door Spec #59
  2. Jefferson Glass is the sub, and they're using http://www.tubeliteinc.com/
  3. Toby would like to use Schlage. Tony, can you take the lead on this? I could use help on the door schedule.
  4. @AnisGitHub I'm assuming all windows, no matter the orientation, need Low-E coating, correct?

Thanks Gentlemen.

  1. New info posted on Garage Door Spec #59.
  2. Perfect.
  3. I will take the lead on this. Consultant will need an exiting plan, partition plan, and Door Schedule. Let me know where and when I can find those.
  4. My take is even north-facing windows can benefit by reduced heat loss.

Thanks Ryan.
