Describe the Bug

In New Roommania, text boxes on the main menu incorrectly show up behind the save data slots, making them hard to read. Additionally, ingame, your character's shadow is missing polygons and is usually too opaque on the SW renderer.

Reproduction Steps

Mash circle to start a new game; you'll see the save screen during that, and eventually enter gameplay where you can observe the shadow issue.

Expected Behavior

I expected the save screen text boxes to show up in front of the save data boxes, and I expected my character's shadow to render properly on the SW renderer.

The menu issue looks like a core bug. This is a picture of the GS dump running on real hardware.

As for the shadow, this needs preround as seen in #6553
