For PHI-base/curation#102

Preferred term label

host hemorrhage with pathogen present

Textual definition

A pathogen host interaction phenotype in which host bleeding occurs during pathogen infection (MP:0001914 hemorrhage).

Synonyms

host bleeding with pathogen present

host haemorrhage with pathogen present

Suggested parent term

??

@ValWood, I'm not sure what 'type' of phenotype this? Could it go under 'pathogen modulation of host immune system process phenotype'?

image

or is it more of a 'host defense-induced substance level phenotype'?

or something else??

I would put it under the parent
, or make a term
"pathogen modulation of host physiological process"

(the phrase 'modulation' is a bit odd. I can't immediately think of a better one, but it isn't really 'modulation'
or even just "host physiological process affected by pathogen"

Thanks @ValWood . It looks like some words are missing in your comment above. Do you mean

-pathogen modulation of host process

--NTR: host physiological process affected by pathogen (sibling of 'pathogen modulation of host immune system process phenotype')

---NTR: host hemorrhage with pathogen present

Yes something like that.

NTR: host physiological process affected by pathogen phenotype

Def: A pathogen host interaction phenotype, in which a pathogen effects a change in the physiological processes of its host organism.

Do we need to define 'physiological process'?
