The current afsctool.rb formula (run: brew edit afsctool) consist the patch from vfx01j/afsctool repo which is a bit outdated, it doesn't have fix for High Sierra (f_type 24) and other features.

Would it be possible to generate patch or replace the binary with the most updated from this repository? See: Homebrew's CONTRIBUTING.md file.

homebrew are already aware of this active fork, and the formula changes have already been done:
heavyk/homebrew-core@5b5d8af

but they need the original author brkirch to agree to handover the formula so it points to this fork:
Homebrew/homebrew-core#20898 (comment)

I'll try to contact @brkirch again

The package will need to be self-hosted, or named something like afsctool-parallel
