textMe is a Python 2.X script that allows you to receive a text containing the days weather related info and unread messages in your inbox.
sudo apt-get install git-core
git clone https://github.com/RParkerE/textMe.git
Run the textMe.py script
text('your phone #', 'Carrier (e.g. Sprint)', 'host server (e.g. gmail.com)', 'username', 'password')
I wanted to create an application that would allow me to get an idea of the day without the hassle of chhecking all the information, rather I wanted it all in a centralized location that was quick and easy to access.
