14. Spawner Areas

Description

Spawners in Minecraft Bedrock operate under a different set of rules then general spawning. First the spawner is only active if the player is within a certain sphere. Second the spawner detects monsters in a specific bounding box, if it exceeds the spawner max number of mobs it cancels the spawn attempt. If there are no monsters and the spawner is active it will spawn monsters in a small diamond around the spawner. This pack marks out the spawn volume, the spawner check area and the player detect volume. Place the armor stand directly on the spawner to see all 3 volumes.

* Note the spawner does not respect global mob cap. these are potentially world breaking if left alone for a long time without killing the mobs.

How To Use

To use this feature, place the armor stand on the spawner, apply the key item to the armor stand.
