Publish to Archlinux AUR #1
Comments
Yeah, I'm an Arch Linux user :D First I will publish the package in PyPi and then I would like to focus on the Linux packages, so I would like to take ownership of the package later. And sure, I will add the alias example to the README. I can't see your video, the gif is just... black? |
Awesome! The video was a showcase of the installation and the fact that its bieng installed automatically into So if youre an Arch user I believe you've experienced the video by yourself already :) And regarding the ownership, just write your AUR username on this issue (or mail me: i@maxcode.me) and i will make you a co-maintainer and then disown thus making you sole owner. |
I'm done with PyPi packages, so look for me in the AUR as Rikiub. |
Hi,
I thing the project is useful and would benefit more people, if only more people knew about it.
So I have published the project to the AUR.
You can find it here:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/yournal
Its also kinda easier to use this way.. no need to clone anything, just
yay -S yournal
.Look I even made a video for you of the installation and usage:
As on your part, you could mention it in the README file, for example:
I would ultimately like for you (@Rikiub) to take ownership of the package mentioned above, if your'e, by any chance, an Arch Linux user.
Otherwise I will be fine keeping it under my AUR user.
Bonus:
My alias, you could include it also somwhere in the README if you'd like :)
Good job btw.
