Been away, sorry for late response.
The hardware architecture is not as important as the operating system. Generally, just recompiling dt with OS compiler tools is generally all that's required. For example, on Linux there's a Makefile specific to this OS. The dt binaries provided are the ones I had access to at various companies. Most OS's use GNU build tools.

I've just recently built DT for the M2 Macs which are arm64 architecture. I didn't find anything that broke due to the architecture change.
