Special action improvement Request

-We need a key-press sequence settings that one can choose by will. (Example: press "X" and then "Y", or Press both Together, etc.) As it is currently, it wont matter the sequence, and for that reason, it might never trigger under certain conditions or trigger when not intended.
-Special Action table does not allow saving the special action exclusively to a profile. This makes a confusing complex list that wont allow the same name for a different profile, and will overwhelm the list, and the process to search for a special action on the list, among other complications.

"Special Actions" Tab in Profiles, has some bugs.
-When i set a special action for Applications/Games, the software doesn't comply with the sequence of the key-press.
-Often, the special action wont execute if the keys to be combined have a key bind individually. Or it might be that it execute the individual button action and the combination button action simultaneously, therefor, voiding one or the other. This actions should have a setting to define priority over the individual key action.
-After pressing the assigned combination, if one of the keys is released before than the other, the software automatically interpret that the remaining keys were pressed again. This often damage the intended actions effect, for it can overwrite the intended output.
-Special Action table list is displaying the wrong action removal when the button "Remove Action" is press. Instead of removing the selected action, it remove the last action on list.

DualShock 3 buttons request

• I see that DS4Windows supports nearly fully all DS3 features. We can use gyro, reassign accelerometers to mouse, change LEDs, we have light and strong vibrations, only one feature is missing from this big portfolio: pressure-sensitive buttons.
• I would like to be able to reassign DS3 analog face buttons to XInput/DS4's analog triggers, as usually they were acting like them on PlayStation 3 (as accelerate and brake or aim sight)
• A bit advanced implementation can be with keyboard/mouse inputs like soft press has different action than full press. Example: pressing lightly is shift+W (slow walking) and full press will be just W (normal walk) or opposite normal walk and sprint with (shift+w)
• Or a different approach: repeating press of button, soft press will be slowly repeating W, so car will be moving slower, stronger press will have shorter pauses until full press, then full press will come in place of fast pressing. In old PC games, where there were no analog inputs, this was the way we were driving with keyboards - tapping W to slow down.
• I don't know if these ideas can be implemented, but it would be nice to finally have an application with full support for this controller. ReWASD has good support for pressure-sensitive buttons, but no gyro support. DS4Windows has great gyro support, but no pressure-sensitive buttons yet. I would like to see at least the possibility to reassign analog cross and square to RT/R2 and LT/L2.

Will there be plans on updating to .NET 7? Some other applications on my PC require it and I would rather not downgrade if possible. Thanks

Likely no. .NET 7 is a standard term support release of .NET that will reach EOL (May 2024) before .NET 6 (November 2024). .NET 8 is the next LTS (long term support) release of .NET from Microsoft so there might be a target .NET update around the time .NET 8 is officially released; although, I might not be working on DS4Windows by then. .NET 8 preview builds are out there but I doubt I will end up playing with any before the official release.

Forgot to mention that you can have multiple versions of .NET installed on the same machine since at least .NET Core (I think). Having .NET 7 installed for some other programs should not affect DS4Windows running on .NET 6.

Is there any chance that DS4Windows will also support the Nintendo Switch Online N64 Controllers?

The Switch Pro Controller gets recognized by the program instantly but the N64 controller sadly doesn't.
I really need it in order to be able to speedrun Mario 64 on Emulator.

Probably not. I guess the N64 style controller exposes itself differently than a standard Switch Pro so DS4Windows will skip it. I would hope that initializing the controller would be the same otherwise. Either way, someone with the actual hardware would have to get support worked out. Having knowledge of the device's VID and PID would likely not be enough to get support working.
