Extend Death/Arrested pause screen

Hi, is it possible to modify how the pause screen when you are killed/arrested (example screenshots below) behaves? The game pauses the action almost immediately, and I'm curious if it is possible to let the animations play out longer. Or if that is not possible, to see if it is possible to remove the large graphic and blurring effect that obscures the scene.
