It's hard to believe but there is a problem with mechanical compatibility between two Amphenol connectors.

DE09P065TXLF - DB9 male soldered on cable
LD09S24A4GV00LF - DB9 female straight on PCB.

male plug cannot be pull completely into a connector. For some reason there will be no contact in between. The solution is to put two 1mm washers between male plug screw and a peg in the PCB female connector.
