Could you make pysss available via PyPI so it can be installed via pip? Currently pysss is available on some Linux distros like CentOS 8 as something like python3-sss:

$ rpm -ql python3-sss
/usr/lib/.build-id
/usr/lib/.build-id/61
/usr/lib/.build-id/61/6d638ec3b3229e63f6dd212b68bb3cb9915f9c
/usr/lib64/python3.6/site-packages/pysss.so

Unfortunately, if we're using a different Python version (e.g., python38), the pysss module is unavailable without having to re-package it. I'd love for this to be integrated into your Travis or other CI so when new revisions of sssd are tagged, PyPI is auto-updated as well.

It would be error prone as PyPI package built for a specific SSSD API could be used against a different SSSD version with different API.
