Hi I just installed Renderware on VM but when I try to run it it gives me Error : Enterprise Host Module has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for inconvinience.

Idk what may cause it but I installed it step by step following your guide.

Thanks for your respond,

Hello! Fun fact: this guide was created just because I encountered the same error.

You will have to start from scratch and closely follow the tutorial again. Make sure to:

  1. Use the specified version of VirtualBox
  2. Enable 3D Acceleration under VM settings (select an appropriate adapter, as written in the guide)
  3. Enable 3D acceleration when installing Guest Additions (see point 10 under "Configuring the OS")
  4. Keep the RenderWare installer open (after you have opened it) before step 15 in "Installing the software"

Is this doable on a real windows xp machine :> ?

Hello, @juicewarex! I do not really know as I don't have a real machine to run XP on. Probably you just need hardware acceleration. You can check requirements on the renderware website on Web Archive (maybe).
