Dunno if am doing something wrong or its not working, my friends from pc said its working properly, but dunno abt console

The VM needs to be connected to the internet. Make sure that you have a virtual switch(Default, NAT, or one that's bound to a physical adapter) attached to it. Usually attaching a default switch will do
