Description

When using the "Spouse Entry" capability of the "Person Entry" on Form Builder there are two separate but similar issues. One, in the workflow/submission the "Spouse" attribute does not get populated when a spouse is entered (or even when loaded from a logged in person) regardless of Marital Status, if you are utilizing the data further in the workflow this can be problematic. Two, when using the "Spouse Entry" if you do not also display the "Marital Status" field, or they do not enter a marital status when it is optional, the "spouse" will not be associated as the actual spouse of the person entered (when using further workflow actions or lava to get "Spouse").

Actual Behavior

Spouse attribute is not populated in workflow or cannot be associated with person as a spouse in workflow actions or lava filters when no Marital Status is entered.

Expected Behavior

At least the "Spouse" attribute be populated with the person that is entered in the workflow. The marital status could be adjusted after the fact in a workflow action if that was populated or have it set a default marital status if it is optional or not displayed in order to actually associate them as spouse.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open your Form Builder, https://rock.rocksolidchurchdemo.com/workflow/form-builder
  2. Create a form with "Person Entry" enabled.
  3. Configure Person Entry to have Spouse as Optional or Required
  4. You may choose to include marital status or not, it does not affect the main issue from what I can tell.
  5. Fill out the form as a new person or a logged in person, the same issue exists with the workflow either way. Marital status requires a new person
  6. View the form submissions
  7. View the specific form submission detail, and you will notice the "Spouse" attribute is empty.
