Form Builder preview not updating in 16.4 #5835

Description

In 16.4, the Form Builder does not automatically update the preview when fields are updated. The form must be saved and the page refreshed in order for the updates to show.

Actual Behavior

Field values and some settings do not update in the form preview until the form is saved and the page is refreshed.

Expected Behavior

The preview should update as values and settings are changed and/or field focus changes.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new form using the Form Builder in 16.4
  2. Add a field to the form
  3. Update the field settings and observe that the preview does not update

Issue Confirmation

  • Perform a search on the Github Issues to see if your bug or enhancement is already reported.
  • Try to reproduce the problem on a fresh install or on the demo site.
