hi @SukkoPera ,

is it possible to add a rapid-fire feature? this would be very helpful for many games like silkworm. turrican etc..

I've never been a fan of rapid-fire functionalities. To me they look a bit like cheating. If the game designed didn't put a rapid fire feature in the game, he wants you not to have one, IMHO.

That said, I made some attempts at such a feature some time ago, but never got it mature enough for release.

I don't think I will work on it in the future, as I am in a bit of sick-of-everything mood, but I'll happily accept pull requests if anybody wants to have a go at implementing this (or anything).

first, thanks for the quick response.
I understand your point of view. but if i think back to the old days, when pretty much every joystick had this rapid-fire function, then i don't see anything bad about it myself. ;)

my programming skills are pretty rusty, but maybe I can get something put together.

or there is someone who can help here in a targeted manner.
