Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I personally like the beta mode more than the actual live mode and always have to switch into it normally

Describe the solution you'd like
A toggle in the settings to make the beta mode the default when opening a stream (potentially with a warning or smth if the beta mode is actually less stable)
