Steemhunt is a community generated leaderboard running on top of the Steem Blockchain that rewards people for sharing and upvoting cool new products as well as discovering new products. Products shared could be unique IT or hardware products such as web services, mobile apps, games, API, IT solutions, bots, open sources, tech gadgets and unique items.
In Steemhunt, product hunters can feature up-to-date and cool products. The daily ranking system will be applied by the Steem upvoting system. The rank will be organized by the pending payout values on a daily basis. All actions will be synced with your Steemit blog and rewarded by STEEM tokens.
You cannot create an account on Steemhunt, but you can logging with your username and private key created on Steemit.com, using SteemConnect. This is because Steemhunt is built on the decentralised steem-blockchain. SteemConnect is an identity layer on top of the Steem-blockchain that makes accounts secure. SteemConnect requires only your private key when logging in and not your master password.
Steemit.com is a blockchain-based social media platform where anyone can earn rewards by blogging, posting videos, commenting and interacting with authors. The steem blockchain not only holds earned cryptocurrency tokens called STEEM and STEEM DOLLARS, but also content (articles, videos, music, pictures etc) created by its users, a system to vote on that content, receive rewards in addition to other features you would find on popular social networking site.
Steemhunt is built on the same blockchain as Steemit.com i.e Steem Blockchain, and thus what you post and whatever action you take on Steemhunt appears on Steemit.com and vice versa. Summarily, Every action on Steemhunt appears on steemit and vice-versa, therefore, Steemhunt serves as a smart interface for new products enthusiast on Steemit.com.
We only accept private key generated on Steemit.com. If by any case you forget or lose your private key as a result of a tamper with your account on Steemit.com, you will have to contact Steemit.com for help. Your information is safe. Note that we do not store your keys at all, hence, we do not have any information or any form of access, that would compromise or jeopardize our site users directly or indirectly. Steemhunt is running a Steem Power Delegation Program. We are collecting 5% beneficiary from the author rewards via the Steemhunt platform, and we will distribute it among sponsors who delegate Steem Power (SP) to @steemhunt. "Review comment" is a special type of comment that includes commeter's review (pros and cons) on other user's hunt. Our upvoting bot will read the content automatically and give them upvotes as well as the hunt posts.
