Front-End Development Project
My first freelancing project, I got contacted by an educational travel company in order to build a website for their company.
- Build a website for an educational travel company, whose demographic target are the children and the parents of the children.
- The website must contain a Home, Camps, Team, Contact pages.
- Implement a free e-mailing system for a small number of requests per month.
- Find a hosting service for the website.
- Ensure that the website is found on Google.
- The website must be scalable for PC, mobile and tablets.
- Ensure that the pictures displayed on the website are high quality.
- Built a website from scratch using vanilla HTML, CSS and JS.
- Learnt how to use Front-end framework for CSS: Materialize.
- Implemented an e-mail system with no server-side code: Email.JS.
- Learnt how to optimize Google's SEO on a website.
- Ensured the responsiveness of the website on different devices.
- Edited and adjusted the received images in order to make them more presentable.
