Sorry, I'm not super familiar with this project. Can a LXND axis value be applied to any font, or are you suggesting that the extension would apply a Lexend font to override fonts on any page?

Our extension, Type-X, makes it easy to override fonts on any webpage with any font on your system or loaded into the extension. If you are wishing to override any site with a Lexend font, you could either use Type-X, or potentially fork it and make it a single-font-only overrider.

If you are seeking to distort existing fonts on webpages, that would be a different task.
