It's hard to say exactly at this point, sine opengothic doesn't have much logging in audio subsystem. Atm we are using modified openal with Alsa backend on linux. Could you case be related to alsa somehow?
@Try you are correct. The problem is with my alsa. I am using pulseaudio and all the other applications have sound but when I try speaker-test or aplay file.wav I hear nothing.
