I believe it started with the last update. When I copy text that contains Cyrillic letters, it shows as \uXXXX Unicode codes in the menu. It doesn't seem to happen to the first entry copied after clearing the history. See the screenshot that shows "тест" normally and "тест2" as "\u0442\u0435\u0441\u04422".

After selecting the first entry and the corrupted one again, paste no longer works for the second entry.

@Tudmotu sorry, I must have missed a notification for your question. GNOME 45.3, extension 57, still reproducible. Back in the day it was the latest version available at extensions.gnome.org.

It's ok, no worries.
It's kinda weird, because I seem to be able to copy the text just fine:

Yes, it reproduces every time. I clear the history (including any pinned items), open this issue in Firefox, select "тест", Ctrl+C, select "тест2", Ctrl+C — and the second word is corrupted, as shown on my screenshot.
