I think I now know the answers after trying this and a few other solutions. WireSock has an option to use a Virtual Network Adapter. I have installed WireSock and WireSockUI and then turned on the VNA. All works exactly as I want now as I can bind QBT to the VNA. I didn't see the option in TunnlTo so maybe add it as a tickbox? |

I mostly use Usenet but want to run qBittorrent behind the free VPN I get with my Usenet sub. Their app works fine in bypass mode where I have to list all apps to exclude from the VPN but the opposite (tunnel mode) crashes if the VPN glitches. I stumbled across TunnlTo in my searches and whilst I was rather confused to start with as I didn't fully understand the keys and where to get them I actually seem to have got it working. I did this by connecting to Wiregaurd via the VPN App and then importing the .conf file that I found in the ProgramData folder.
My questions are, is that all I have to do and does the .conf file contain my username and password albeit hashed into the private and public keys? I also want to bind QBT to the wireguard interface but it does not seem to show up in the options, is there anything else I need to do?
