Experience virtual reality in Kerbal Space Program 1.9.1

This is a pre-release version of the KerbalVR reboot. I've rewritten the mod completely
from the ground up, to address issues with the very basics: performance and stability in VR.

Because everything is being re-written, there is a regression in features compared to previous versions, until I can get around to implementing them. Hence why it is a pre-release. In its current state, VR is NOT compatible with KVR-Pods.

RPM should be supported in this release. Use the InteractClick input binding to "click" on RPM buttons. Please note that using RPM incurs an FPS performance hit.

  • Seated-mode VR in IVA mode. Use your VR devices to control the craft.
  • VR in EVA mode, with basic teleportation for locomotion.
  • Room-scale VR in the VAB / SPH editor.
  • VR anywhere and everywhere in the game. The only drawback is not being able to interact with the UI whilst in VR.

Changes

  • Added blue hand rails to the Mk1-3 cockpit cabin, which can be grabbed with VR controllers as a mechanism for locomotion within IVA
  • Added "mouse click" functionality within VR, so that when using the RPM mod, you can "click" RPM buttons to interact with the cockpit
  • Fixed a bug with the camera going bonkers when switching the camera mode from IVA to Flight mode
  • Fixed a bug where the environment would flicker when the Graphics Render Quality setting was set high
  • Fixed a bug where teleportation was mistakenly allowed inside IVA
