operation of groups is often not working #8
Comments
Hi @andy-st, Thanks for the reported issue. Unfortunately, sometimes I have the same problem. However, I do not know the root cause of it. Give me some time and try something. I will create a new version from the Elero lib. I will inform you when you can update the lib. Thanks |
@W00D00 : Many many thanks to you, it is much better now with the latest version! I will continue testing it in the next days and give you feedback again. :-) In my first test, I just had the following issue. I clicked on "move down" for a group of 6 shutters. All shutters start moving down. Then after around 5 seconds I clicked on "stop". But only 1 shutter stopped moving and the others kept on moving. I think this is the error message I get: ... During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred: Traceback (most recent call last): During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred: Traceback (most recent call last): During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred: Traceback (most recent call last): During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred: Traceback (most recent call last): ... For me, it is not that important, as the groups are now working much better. :-) |
I now used it the last days and can tell, that the initial issue is not fixed. So I've still the issue, that when I send the command "close" to a group of for example 6 shutters, then often only one is them is moved. And I get the error mentioned above then. |
@W00D00: It is working very stable now! Thank you so so much! :-) :-) :-) |
I often have the issue that when trying to control a complete group of shutters, only one or two shutters are moved and the rest not moving.
This is one of my groups:
This is what I can find in the logfile when I try to move a group of shutters (here all shutters from "WohnEssZimmer" are moved):
I feel that after a fresh reboot of the Home Assistant first it is working fine, but after a few commands more and more errors like this happen.
I am not really sure if this log file helps and/or if I've recorded it correctly, but at least there are some errors which have timestamps quite after having sent a command to the complete group.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
