I'd like to discuss next steps for #201. The benchmarks are posted to the PR with x64 results but I am not able to run this on ARM because of the lack of available binary v8 builds (I did try building v8 on an ARM64 host but it doesn't work due to something in the build system being misconfigured).

There are a few options in #196, and I don't think we landed on next steps. I'd like to revisit this discussion to see what's the best way forward.
