Rebuff command not working #12
Comments
Please confirm that you've un-installed xivauras, restarted, then installed ReBuff, in that order. Since there is a change in repo, getting the plugin to accept that change is a bit tricky |
Alright I'll try that. Im sure that order was different for me in fear I could lose my Settings so I had both installed at some time. |
Nope, it should just be You can verify that ReBuff is installed in the installed plugins list, right? (Not XIVAuras) It shouldn't have required anything other than just clicking uninstall on xivauras, changing the repo, relaunching the game then installing rebuff. The order of operations here is the important part to prevent plugin caching from causing issues (from my understanding anyway) |
I have now completely uninstalled xivauras and rebuff, closed the game, restarted it and installed ReBuff again.. still wont do the trick. I assume it has something to do with XIVLauncher and Dalamud in generl having cached something . Ill fiddle with it and continue to investigate.. maybe chat2 or tidychat has something that prevents the command.. dunno. No biggie though because I can access the plugin from within the /xlplugin list. So not a high priority to fix especially if im the only one having this. ;) |
Oh lol I found the issue.. Your command conflicts with the german command here: https://de.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/playguide/db/text_command/e8a85d58ec8/ Maybe its an option considering to exchange the command to /prb maybe? for Plugin ReBuff? |
Oh! Interesting, that would explain why I couldn't replicate the issue on my end. I was thinking about adding the old /xa command back in for another user, I could probably also add a /rebuff command as a failsafe. I'll put it on my to do list |
Heya, the /rb command gives me an error that there is no such command. On XIVAuras it used to be /xa but that doesnt work either.. ^^
