The type of automatic upgrade

In order to facilitate the upgrade and adapt to the needs of different users, several different upgrade methods are provided:

  • do not upgrade Don't check for updates at all

  • stable version Generally, a stable version will be maintained on github for new users to download. After 3 days to a week, the beta version will be used as a stable version if there is no feedback on major problems

  • beta Generally, a new version needs to go through the beta version stage, and test it for netizens who encounter specific problems and enthusiastically participate in the test. accept feedback

  • Notification Stable, Notification Beta Notifications only, no automatic updates After the update is detected, you can manually click to choose whether to update

Automatically check for updates: every time you boot, and every 24 hours after boot

How to set

  • After starting XX-Net, open http://127.0.0.1:8085/?module=launcher&menu=config

  • Click "System" -> "Version", "Automatically upgrade to" option will appear stable version

  • Make a selection in the drop-down menu, and the words "Settings have been successfully saved." will appear at the top of the window, and the setting is complete. settings saved

Upgrade Compatibility:

When the major version number is upgraded, the client needs to be downloaded again, and in-app upgrades are not supported. For example, if the current version is 4.12.1, if the new version is 5.0.5, you need to re-download the client and decompress it again.
