I have no clue what I am going to do but ... so many apps are snap-only in new versions and I refuse to INTENTIONALLY include snap support. Maybe make a note to the user? Maybe a link to alternative ways to install said app?

Both? .... say "you cant install chromium via ubuntu due to it being a snap, from these scripts.. do you want to install the flatpak instead?" sort of a prompt

i am not sure how to do this without things becoming possibly messy so to speak
