Do you have internet connection...?

Yes. By the way, I meant this in the context of using emutool.

Here's a screenshot of the error as it takes place: https://postimg.cc/gxqscQbK

Is this still an issue?

Sadly, it still is. I just checked.

I'm having the same problem, but I'm trying to use emutool through wine (linux).

Edit: I'm going to try installing dotnet 4.6.1 as suggested by a warning in the terminal after running wine emutool.exe. Maybe it'll fix something.

Edit2: Yeah, pretty much install .NET Framework 4.6.1. Makes sense. The exe may run without it but not entirely. @dothackjhe do you have it installed?

Edit3: Maybe it's a good idea to document this requirement somewhere!

@lsfgrd uses Linux. To run .NET programs (like emutool.exe), either the combination of Wine and the .NET Framework or Mono can be used. While Mono technically supports Windows, it is incredibly unlikely to help and will likely cause additional issues.

I forgot to mention that I use Windows 10 on my desktop.
