Request: Clearer feedback on open note strums

Currently when normal notes are hit, there's pretty clear visual feedback through particle effects, so it's obvious that you've not missed a note. This doesn't seem to happen with open notes though, which sometimes makes it feel like you've missed one when you haven't really.

It would be ideal if the open notes could have similar effects added to bring them in line with the normal notes, or really just any visual tweak to make it clear between hitting and missing one of those notes.
