We recommend using DEV build and HTML5 player, as many issues do not apply with these.

Status of YouTube Center

As of many of you know. I have not been actively developing on YouTube Center and there's a good reason for that. I have acquired a full time job, which leaves not much time for development. However, if a major bug occurs, because of some change in YouTube. I will try to fix it in a relatively small time frame.

Moreover, I will will not stop developing on YouTube Center indefinitely and there might be some future surprises.

What is YouTube Center?

YouTube Center is a userscript designed to expand the functionality of YouTube. It includes the ability to download the video you're watching, auto selecting your preferred video quality and much more.

DEV builds

We highly reccomend using DEV builds, as the stable build is nearly a year old, and much of its functionality is now broken. Information about the developer version of YouTube Center can be found here.

YouTube Center is available as the following extensions: Userscript, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari and Maxthon.

Current version: v2.1.7 (OBSOLETE use the development version instead).
