@sergiu-cc, I'm seeing that we've already got a 3.0 branch created but I do not know if it's stable or not and if everything was migrated from 2.x to 3.0. you could start by checking that code in reference with this https://github.com/symfony/symfony/blob/2.8/UPGRADE-3.0.md.

We are depending on the friendsofsymfony/jsrouting-bundle. This bundle is right now not yet compatible with sf3 (See pull request FriendsOfSymfony/FOSJsRoutingBundle#254). We are investigating what to do.
