Installing the launcher

Start by downloading the latest release from the releases page here on GitHub.

You want the zip-file that is called like AAEmu.Launcher-yyyymmdd-Vx.x.x.zip

Unpack the contents of the zip-file to the place where you want to install the launcher to. There is already a folder called AAEmu.Launcher included inside the zip, so no need to create a new folder for it.

Extract all files from the zip to where you want it by right-clicking on the zip file you downloaded and picking Extract All ... or by opening it in your favorite unzipping program.

Next you can start it by double-clicking on the executable.

Depending on your security settings it is possible that Windows or your Anti-Virus program will mark the launcher as unknown or dangerous.

This is normal behavior as the program is not signed and doesn't have a publisher defined either. To go further if you are getting the Windows Defender SmartScreen popup, press the More info link and then pick run anyway.
