Pixela is accepting support by Patreon.

Funding from supporters is used to develop, renovate and maintain for Pixela.

What is Patreon?

Patreon is a crowdfunding platform that has been available since 2013.

This is an external web service that is different from Pixela.

How to support Pixela by Patreon

If you can support Pixela with Patreon, you can do the following:

1. Create a Patreon Account.
2. Press the Become a patron button on Pixela Patreon Site to proceed.
3. If you see the page Thank you for your support !!, you have registered for support.

Is there anything in return for support?

Once Patreon has registered for Pixela support, an email will be sent automatically to the email address registered with your Patreon account.(No matter which support plan you choose, an email will be sent.)

This email contains a special code called thanks-code.

By setting this code to Pixela's User property, so some limited function can be used. For example, the following request:

What kind of limited features are available?

As of 2026-04-27, the features available only to users with a valid thanks-code are:

• Following API will be available:
  • POST /v1/users/<username>/graphs/<graphID>/pixels
  • GET /v1/users/<username>/graphs/<graphID>/analyze
• On the following page, you will show a badge indicating that you are a Pixela Supporter.
  • Detail page of each graph
  • User profile page
• On the following page, you can hide ads.
  • Detail page of each graph
  • User profile page
• A specification that caused some APIs to reject requests 25% of the time will be disabled.
• On the User profile page, information will be displayed on the following pages:
  • title
  • aboutURL
  • Page View transition graph about your profile page
  • Transition graph of posted Pixel
• Retina will be available for display in all periods.
  • Retina is also shown in the following in-page tooltips.
    • User profile page
    • Detail page of each graph
• You can page through the graphs on the following pages:
  • Detail page of each graph
• The isSecret property of Graph is available, which is a parameter to turn off the display of graph on the user's profile page.
  • In order to use this feature, you need to update the graph definition beforehand and set isSecret to true.
• The Graph property publishOptionalData to include the optionalData of each Pixel in the generated SVG data is enabled.
• Enables the selfSufficient property of Graph , which allows you to increment / decrement the quantity of the day just by displaying (GET) each graph.

Please understand that it is only support for the development team. Please understand that thanks-code itself, and the advantage you gain from using thanks-code on Pixela is a bonus.

FAQ

• Q. What if I stop my support?
  • A. Because Pixela is automatically linked with Patreon, limited function will not be available when you stop supporting it. The refund policy, etc. conforms to the Patreon specification.
• Q. Is it possible to resume support again after stopping it once?
  • A. Yes, it is possible.
• Q. I can change the amount of support tier by Patreon's features. Are there any problems if you do?
  • A. There is no problem, but it is not currently planned to change the benefits of Pixela.
• Q. I have multiple Pixela user accounts. Can I share thanks-code between those user accounts?
  • A. There is no problem.
• Q. I am belong to a organization (or company). Can we share thanks-code within my organization (or my company) ?
  • A. If you register support as a Logo/Icon Supporter, you can share it.
