Prettier Zulip

Prettier Zulip is a web browser extension that beautifies the Zulip web application.

Installation Instructions

Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge

1. Download this repo as a ZIP file from GitHub.
2. Unzip the file and you should have a folder named Prettier-Zulip.
3. In Chrome/Edge go to the extensions page (chrome://extensions or edge://extensions).
4. Enable Developer Mode.
5. Drag the Prettier-Zulip-main folder anywhere on the page to import it (do not delete the folder afterwards).

Firefox

1. Download this repo as a ZIP file from GitHub.
2. Unzip the file and you should have a folder named Prettier-Zulip.
3. In Firefox go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
4. Click on Load Temporary Add-on.
5. Navigate to the Prettier-Zulip folder you downloaded and select the manifest.json file in there(do not delete the folder afterwards).

Install with auto-update support (Recommended on Chrome/Edge)

1. Download the Prettier-Zulip.crx file from the latest release on GitHub.
2. In Chrome/Edge go to the extensions page (chrome://extensions or edge://extensions).
3. Enable Developer Mode.
4. Drag the Prettier-Zulip.crx file anywhere on the page to install it.
