Parsing isn't as robust as I'd thought. Malformed input causes incorrectly marked valid TimeStamps rather than failed parses. For example:
λ> decode "\"2018-05:01T01:42:12Z\""
gives
Just 1970-01-01T00:33:38.000000000Z
which is all kinds of unhelpful.
