misfunction of tab key in command line / no pass through

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. active commands input field
2. press tab
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected: tab key is sent to all active sessions
instead: tab key switches elements of the commands menu (input, send command, 
mask text, select documents)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.0.6 on Win7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
No output in the supperputty logfile while pressing tab available.
