GRTensorIII is an add-on package for the Maple computer algebra system.
- performs component and basis calculations for General Relativity
- defines a large number of standard tensor, basis and NP objects
- allows new objects to be defined and calculated
- is used to calculate objects of interest in specific spacetimes
- allows the entry of new spacetimes in tensor or basis form interactively
- is intended to work on all platforms (PC, Mac or Linux)
- has been validated on Mac (ElCap/Sierra), Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) using Maple 2015 and 2016 Please report any compatibility issues to the support email grtensor3@gmail.com.
GRTensorIII requires Maple 18 or later from http://www.maplesoft.com/
Click the "Code" tab in the GitHub toolbar above this page Click the green "Clone or Download" button on the right-hand side Select "Download ZIP"
Clone the repository in a directory on your computer. git clone https://github.com/grtensor/grtensor.git
Once you have downloaded the program see Install and Setup for more information.
