`Imagemagick` errors in local build #564

When building al-folio locally, I get the following Imagemagick errors:

I am getting a similar error in WSL 2.0 - Ubuntu 20.04

Are you running ruby webserver on windows? I am getting the same error.

I think this is because windows uses the command "magick convert" rather than "convert" when calling imagemagick.

I don't know how to change the jekyll-imagemagick calling script to prepend "magick". A batch file also could be used to do the conversions or it could be done manually in the worst case.

I was able to fix the issue on my end on Windows by installing ImageMagick on Windows and adding the legacy apps: https://imagemagick.org/script/download.php#windows

Hi, I am getting this issue as well. I am using Windows 11 without WSL. I tried @jodoran solution by installing ImageMagick from the provided link. However, the errors still appear.

What do you mean by "adding the legacy apps"? I'v installed ImageMagick in Win10 without WSL, but the error still occurs.

Do you have imagemagick installed in WSL?

Installing with sudo apt install imagemagick worked for me.

Note: brew install imagemagick for mac users.
