There is no sound in Smashing drive while it is OK with ATV track.
The video on your WIP page has sound effects and music.

By the way, thank you to the team for this wonderfull piece of emu.

Smashing Drive have zero sound volume factory setting.
you can/must change it using Digital Up/Down buttons, after that game 
"remembers" value, so not needed to increase volume at every boot.
