I've had the similar error. Nexus 6P Android 7.1.2
Steps to reproduce: Start Discovery in onResume of the fragment and then unsubscribe in onPause. Right after the discovery started, if you lock the screen and then unlock it, which causes discovery to start - stop - start, app crahes with this exception.
