Windows front end, Gervais tileset: Characters, items, tiles flicker black, out of position at 4x4 size #5510

Windows standard version 4.2.4
Windows 11 Home

  1. Run the game
  2. Set tileset to Gervais
  3. Set tile size multiplier to 4x4 or higher (also did 8x8)
    (May need font at 16x16, I didn't try others)
  4. Move your @ around
    ==> Momentarily while moving, @, nearby objects, (possibly other creatures, didn't capture any) and nearby tiles will flicker black or out of position by a tile space or two. Flicker may be more pronounced at larger tile sizes.

This does not happen in the Shockbolt Dark tileset, in the MSYS2 SDL2 front end, or at tile size 2x2.
