I also have this issue right now. I noticed you closed it, so I assume you fixed it. May I ask what your steps to fix it were?

I had installed the aniyomi-arm64-v8a-v0.15.2.4.apk apk, so I uninstalled the application and installed the aniyomi-v0.15.2.4.apk apk, then it started working normally again.

I also have this problem, I don't want to uninstall because I don't have a backup, is there a way to save the data?

I think it's best to wait for the problem to be fixed.

if you're talking about preview then it should be already resolved in r7509

How do I update if I can't log into the app?

Is there any lore reason for why you are unable to go the GitHub repo and the download the latest apk file?

Ah what I did was I actually connected my phone to my computer, and backed up the Aniyomi folder (which you selected when you first installed) just in case. Then, I just gave up and reinstalled the latest version (which gave a new app, so I uninstalled the old one).

It ended up with all my anime and manga chapters still downloaded, but the categories were gone. So I went to the Backup menu (More -> Data and Storage -> Restore backup), and I actually found out that the app automatically backs up your saved anime and manga and categories and stuff in the "autobackup" and "backup/automatic" folders, whichever file is newer.

That's how I solved the issue. It's weird because I actually already had the latest version, the bug happened after I updated to it.

I'll try too, thank you, can I ask you any more questions??
