MPV audio slow to start on some computers #990

Some users seem to be experiencing delays before an audio file plays, despite the fact that mpv is running in slave mode as a long-running process. If another developer is able to reproduce the issue on their Mac/Linux machine, perhaps experimenting with audio drivers in mpv or output device selection may reveal what's going wrong.
