The Battle for Middle-earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king
Game version
v2.01
Game release
CD / DVD
Additional information
I was wondering if one could already use the OpenSpy servers with RotWK as the Readme states that even FESL is already implemented and was working for Red Alert 3 (which is fairly similar to RotWK).
I have just finished writing code to patch the game to skip GS certificate validation and to redirect DNS queries to different servers. I've validated that my patches work with the existing online servers that are hosted by https://t3aonline.net.
My main issue with t3a servers is that they are closed source and might die if the people that run the project decide to leave. Do you think testing it with OpenSpy servers is a good idea at the moment and if so, could you please share the hostnames that i can use to test.
